Well kept grounds. Excellent location. Old building

I had a great time in this little spot, right on the beach. Sugar Beach is nice with BBQs and the pool, and I loved getting to hear the ocean from my room every day. There was no sponge when I arrived and Vacasa was very quick to bring one by, and very responsive generally. The bed is soft, for those who might have difficult on a soft mattress.

Very equipped kitchen, room has everything for the comfortable family vacation. Room has enough towels, bed linens and great that they have beach chairs and umbrella.

It was outstanding! The place had everything we needed, including beach chairs to use! Very clean; well stocked; good space; amazing views; great communication prior and during when we had questions, and obviously a wonderful location! The only very minor improvements would be a new can opener (the hand twist old one is REALLY hard to use!), and a few more beach towels (nice to have one drying when one is wet, with 3 of us there). Otherwise it was perfect. Unfortunately, it's not available for the next time we want to come, but we'd stay in this unit again for sure. Thank you for sharing this wonderful vacation spot with us! Booked through VRBO and then was turned over to Vacasa, so that was a bit confusing at first, but once figured out that was good. I don't know that Vacasa provides cancellations the same as VRBO, so we would only book through Vacasa directly if they offered cancellation opportunities, as I'm just through chemotherapy, and need the opportunity to cancel if unfortunately, I couldn't go for health reasons.

Sugar Beach Resort is paradise in Maui. The miles of Sandy beaches are amazing. The resort is well maintained and the grounds are well kept. Our Condo was very well stocked, a very comfortable bed, and most everything a person could ask for.A great place to stay but I don’t want to tell too many people as it’s hard to get a place there.👍🙈🤫especially for a month stay as there are too many bookings for a few days here and there.

Unit is stocked well, it is very clean, I have no complaints overall. A nice touch is it is located very close to the elevator and stairway and trash chute which is convenient. I have already booked for next year!
