Mana Kai Maui Resort 212

The perfect place for a Maui get away. All condos in the Mana Kai facility have a similar layout with an ocean/beach front lanai. There is a nice grassy area with (shareable) gas grills and pool along side the soft sand beach to meet the needs of all. The ground floor offers a small market, an equipment rental shop and a tours booth. They are also currently refurbishing a restaurant. I also discovered a small yoga shop on the beach side of the building. This specific unit is modern and clean. The condo is "two in one". Each has it's own locking entry door, king bed, and full bath. It had more amenities than those on the listing. From a full kitchen (it even had chip clips!), plenty of bath and pool towels, to beach/pool gear, it has what you need. There is wifi and cable as well. The Vacasa team offered great communication and responsive to all questions. Looking forward to our return visit. Mahalo!

The unit and entire mana kai facility is great. Best maintenance and groundskeeping we've ever seen. Excellent beach view from private patios. Great clean, safe, maintained location on a beautiful beach with excellent snorkeling right offshore. Ground floor has a superb, friendly, small market for lunches, snacks, drinks, beachwear and gear, even batteries. Very convenient. Also a great equipment rental shop on the ground floor. They will rent you snorkel gear, SUP, kayaks, electric motor water devices, and good rash guard shirts. They take all your rentals to the water for you, and show you how to use them. Excellent service. Very high quality, clean gas grills for guest use, at no cost, upon reservation. Excellent customer service at the front desk, for check-in/out and facility questions. Excellent WiFi speed. This place is in a good location for quick access to all the best Kihei spots. Only 30 minutes from Kahalui, and 40 minutes to Paia.

We experienced a number of issues: 1) We asked about an early check in since we could only extend the previous Condo for 2 hours. Vacasa reps indicated we would get a text when the unit was ready. To this day I still haven't received that text! 2) When we arrived the cleaning staff indicated the unit has been ready all day. 3) The dishwasher continued to run for 4 hours after we arrived. I opened it to find water and soap filling the bottom of it. 4) 1 of the 2 air conditioners wouldn't turn on. I contacted the Vacasa rep. for assistance. He walked me through different trouble shooting steps with no luck. He issued a service ticket and said someone would come the next day (Monday) to fix AC and dishwasher. They arrived on Wednesday afternoon! 5) We found ants on the counter top when we arrived. A unit that is "cleaned" shouldn't have ants on the counter top! 6) Sliding doors for closets were off track and wouldn't allow doors to slide. 7) No dishwash towel in kitchen. Had to use a white bathroom towel! 8) Reached out to Vacasa many times to address issues and to provide a refund. Took them 3 1/2 weeks to come back with a resolution which didn't meet our expectations. Felt like we are just a number and revenue for a corporation. The weather was bad (visiting during first Kona Low) and the service for Vacasa was unacceptable. Overall unit was nice, however if you have any issues...good luck getting them resolved!

Wonderful view and wonderful guest service. Our favorite place in Kihei so far!

Unit is nice and a view of the ocean. The lawn area is a nice change from the beach area. Some of the guests were noisy, but that is not a reflection on the unit itself. Just people not being considerate of others. The restaurant being under renovation was a bit inconvenient.
