Hale Kai O Kihei 101

The ground floor level was perfect to access the lawn area and beach. For us senior folks this was a huge plus!! The condo is beautifully furnished and well equipped. The air conditioning unit worked great in the main room didn't quite reach the back bedroom and although the bedroom ceiling fan does a great job; on the hotter days it got a bit warm back there. Our grandkids loved the huge grass area and pool. Even though the pool is small we found it very cozy and perfect for young kids. The beach is a gem for families with the shallow and calm waters. Perfect for wading. We did see some turtles on the beach and in the water. Parts of the beach is a bit rocky I recommend water shoes. The sunsets are absolutely stunning!!! We also loved how close shopping and restaurants are. My husband and I walked around the block to Nalu Restaurant which is excellent. If you plan to take a snorkeling trip I highly recommend Four Winds Sailing. Perfect for families especially with young kids. We did the afternoon snorkel to Coral Gardens. My grandson and I swim alongside a green sea turtle for 20 minutes. Their dock is 15 minutes away by car. Overall in the words of one of our granddaughters. "Best trip ever!!"

Location! Access to the beach just steps from your lanai, turtles every where. The town of Kihei is clean and friendly.

The location of the unit is awesome! You can step out the patio door and walk directly to the beach. This is also a little annoying in that other guests naturally walk right past the patio and when the doors are open or you’re sitting outside some can be a bit nosey and like to look into the unit, which can seem like a lack of privacy.

Wake up to the sound of the waves, make coffee and stroll across the lush lawn to the beach. The apartment has all you need (including binoculars for whale watching from the lanai!). Dan the property manager is helpful, residents are friendly. We had a problem with the door lock late at night; Vacasa straightened that out kicker-split. Location is FABULOUS.

We have stayed in this unit multiple times. Love the ground floor unit. It is close to the beach, BBQ and pool. The sunset are spectacular. Love walking the beach in the morning. Saw turtles most days.

We loved this location, right on the beach for walks and swimming and enjoying the view. The unit has been nicely renovated, although the sofa bed could use another topper for adults sleeping on it, it’s pretty lumpy. The amenities throughout were great though.
