I agree with other reviews...this unit needs updating. The living room sofa and love seat are terribly uncomfortable and in need of replacement. The slider screens are in need of repair. The kitchen lighting is poor, with no underhood stove or under cabinet lighting. The lanai table is coming apart.

Sugar Beach Resort is an ideal place to enjoy a slice of Maui heaven...but not in Unit 221. Our impression is the owner/Vacasa offers the property solely as renters, not hosts. There is a big difference between the two.
