The complex and the staff are excellent. The unit has a great view, great location, but the unit itself needs some freshening up.

The view of the trees and the ocean from the unit is what makes it special. The Akahi is in a great location in Kihei, close to safe beaches and stores and restaurants. Hopefully the old shag carpeting will be removed soon!

We stay in D507 at Kihei Akahi every time we come to Maui. The location is perfect with a walk across the street to the beach. The condo is comfortable and well appointed. We’ll definitely be back!

A great place with a beautiful view to have morning coffee and watch whales or see a great sunset. The pull out bed was the most comfortable of the fold out beds I have ever slept on. It felt like a home and unique to Hawaii, which we loved and not just a white walled basic hotel room.
