Overview

While you'll likely be spending most of your time on the beach or exploring the island, this home also includes a cozy, sunlit living area complete with a sofa bed and a cable-equipped, TV for when you want to just put your feet up and channel surf. You're welcome to stay seaside for your whole trip, but you'll be within a few blocks of several eateries and a short drive to parks and golf if you decide to venture out. Spend your days on the soft sand on Lahaina's infamous coast. Nohonani offers a seasonal private beach; depending on the swells, the sand may be rocks. If you feel like swapping the saltwater for the shared pool, you won't have to miss the view because it’s oceanfront.

The deadbolt lock malfunctioned and we ended up locked out from 7 AM to 3 PM on our first full day there. We left early in the morning for breakfast and when we came back, the deadbolt was stuck in the lock position. We called to have somebody come out and fix it and they kept saying that they would call someone local and then call us back to give an update and then would never call us back. We had to call five times before they finally got someone there to fix it. Meanwhile, we were stuck out of the room with no swimming suits, no sunscreen, no beach equipment, etc so we pretty much just had to sit there for an entire day waiting for them. We only had three full days there, so it was a huge bummer that almost a whole one was consumed by this.

Stayed here with my family of 6 and loved it! The condo is spacious and clean, has a lot of kitchen amenities, beach chairs and towels, etc. There is no A/C so it can get warm at night, but there are plenty of fans to help with this and the windows can be opened to bring in a nice ocean breeze and the sound of waves. We saw whales every single day from the balcony, and turtles swimming in the waves. This is truly a lovely place.

The location of this unit right on the water is ideal if you don't want to have to listen to pool noise and you do want to listen to crashing waves. Saw whales and turtles every day.
