Set back among the trees, this home is located near several gorgeous parks and scenic hiking trails as well as incredible ziplines and other aerial adventures at Nacoochee Adventures and seasonal Cool River Tubing at the Chattahoochee Outpost. Unicoi State Park is just 3.5 miles away, while Helen, Georgia is 6.6 miles away. You'll also be just a few miles from Alpine Mini Golf for some all-ages family fun. This very inviting cabin enwraps you and your guests in golden knotty pine for the perfect rustic escape. Warm up by a crackling wood fire while the chef in your group prepares everyone's favorite dishes in the well-equipped, full kitchen, and then dine at the intimate table for two or outside on the screened porch. Out here is where you'll also find your very own hot tub - perfect for soothing your weary muscles after exciting days out. Back indoors, this home offers smart TVs for streaming all your favorite channels using your own accounts as well as air-conditioning for hot summer days and a washer/dryer to help you keep your laundry under control during your stay. In the evenings, meet up around the firepit out back to roast s'mores, share stories, and watch the stars come out overhead. The cabin was cute and overall we made the most of our short stay and enjoyed ourselves. One noteworthy thing that would have influenced my booking decision was the cockroach infestation being extreme. We noticed cockroaches of all sizes- up to 2-3” long. The staff ‘noted my concern’ and had nothing else to say about the matter. I took the trash out and there were 15-20 small, dead roaches in the bottom of the can. Waking up at night they were visibly all over the counters. We chose to throw away the food we brought and eat out for our entire trip.

We have been renting cabins in the North GA area for over 20 years and Lazy Bear 2 did not dissapoint at all, we have already booked a week for next year! Very cozy and comfortable, and we were there for a full week. While it seems to be close to Lazy Bear 1, we felt completely private. While we have stayed in larger cabins, this one felt extremely cozy and comfortable (as well as private, as mentioned before). This cabin met every single expectation and then some. We were overly impressed and, as previously stated, have already booked another entire week for next year. Highly recommend, super close to Unicoi and Helen, but quietly tucked away for much needed relaxation. Sad our stay is over but looking forward to our return next year. Absolutely loved our stay at Lazy Bear 2!!

This was my first time to the area and the cabin was perfect! The hot tub was perfect after a long day of exploring and shopping in town. The area was peaceful and quiet. The only complaint I have is that we didn’t see any bears! Maybe next time l! We will definitely stay here again!

Everyone in my party absolutely loved this cabin. Cute, cozy, all the amenities you need. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t there already. Loved the hot tub and having a fire pit. The location was perfect. Quiet and private but super close to everything you would want to do near Helen. I would highly recommend this place.
