Maple Summit

A great place to stay that gives you that country cabin vibe in the mountains. Loved having morning coffee on the top deck while deer roam the back yard. You also have the opportunity to sit on the lower deck or relax in the hot tub or a evening around the fire pit. And, if it is raining you can relax in the family game room. You can enjoy your stay right at Maple Summit or venture out to downtown Ellijay and surrounding attractions. A great place to visit as a family, girls or guys weekend or just a couple.

We booked this cabin for a girls trip and I’m so glad we did! It is beautiful, clean, and feels like a cozy nature oasis. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed for cooking and baking- and I love how everything in the kitchen was labeled! We ate dinner outside every night. The couches are so comfy and there are multiple soft throw blankets. There are bedrooms on all three floors and the basement has a sofabed as well. We all slept so wonderfully as all beds were comfortable. Oh the hot tub- clean and fantastic (and the birds singing as we were relaxing in it - heavenly)! The hot tub was easy to use and towels and a towel holder are right there… the owners really have thought this place through. We saw SO MANY DEER! It was incredibly magical. What is so cool about this cabin is that when you are there you feel so far away from the world but once you leave the neighborhood all that you need is very close by. The neighborhood is gated by an actual person at the gate which was appreciated as all us girls felt very safe. The neighborhood is large and walking around it is a great hike in itself! We walked up and around and then down to the river and saw SO MANY BUTTERFLIES fluttering. It was straight out of a movie. We also went to a state park that was near (Amicalola) and saw a 729 foot waterfall on a hike! We highly recommend Maple Summit. We will be back!

Maple Summit is a thoughtfully created cottage in the woods. It is comfortable, cozy, and clean. The kitchen area and bathrooms are well-appointed and well-equipped. The 3 levels and 2 decks provide fun entertainment, multiple sitting areas, and excellent sleeping quarters. If you need to go out and about, the community has good amenities; and the area of Ellijay is lovely and quaint. But the favourite part for me — being surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. Thank you to The Cottage Girls for creating and sharing this retreat! I hope to return again soon.

Property was nice and maintained. Home was clean and comfortable. Lower level was a great place to just hang. Inside; video games, foosball, and TV. Outside; hot tub, gliders, and firepit. Centrally located to anything you could want to do; Wineries, cideries (didn't know that was a thing), waterfalls, antiques, and stores for supplies. Oh, and birds visiting a bird feeder and birdbath!

This cabin was absolutely impeccable! It had everything you could possibly need and more, especially in the kitchen. It’s one of those places where all you need to bring is your toothbrush. It’s super cozy, beautifully decorated, and the views are amazing!!!. I loved watching deer in the morning and hearing the birds. It felt like being out in nature without even leaving the cabin. I didn’t want to leave. 100% recommend staying here! 🙌
