This cabin is on a private lot with awesome views. The cabin elegantly rustic. Great kitchen and bath. Hot tub is on a beautiful private deck with an outdoor fireplace. Highly recommend this cabin for a couple getaway.
This place was beautiful. Total privacy. And was able to book it 30 min before arrival. Never thought I'd be able to find a beautiful cabin like that at last minute.
Cabin was better than expected. It felt very luxurious and spacious. Definitely would consider staying here again
We have been renting Deer Run for three years now and will probably continue each year if it is available. The cabin is situated with an incredible view. We love the huge deck with the view of the mountains and a wonderful fireplace. Beautiful sunsets with a glass of wine from a local winery (our favorite is Habersham). It is spectacular to watch a storm roll in over the mountains across the way. The WiFi has been excellent. Great kitchen and jacuzzi tub in the bedroom area. There is a hot tub on deck also awesome for watching sunsets. The area around Helen, Unicoi State Park, awesome trout fishing and for those not quite patient enough to catch wild trout the is alway Black Mountain Trout Ponds. We stock up every year with 10 - 15 2+ pounders. The cabin is really just for a couple that want a romantic getaway vacation.
We loved this cabin in general. View is nice, location is great- super close to Helen. We did notice right off the bat that the shower was not cleaned. The floor was stained with some sort of residue, and the walls had several hairs. Also, we noticed that the hot tub was cloudy and stained on one of the seats. With that said, the kitchen was well stocked, we slept great, and it was generally cozy. We spent a lot of time watching movies on the large TV. The water was hot in the shower, and the grounds were kept well. Although we probably wouldn’t stay here again, we did enjoy our stay!
