I absolutely loved this cabin it’s beautiful inside and outside, great views some deers walking around and very quiet.Furniture it’s comfortable and nice and it’s decorated really nicely. There is absolutely everything that you need for a short visit in this cabin and I would definitely be back
Had a great stay. All we needed for a guys trip to the mountains. We needed help with the tvs and received immediate assistance which we were grateful for. A few minor quirks and quibbles There should be extra towels and sheets and blankets provided to accommodate the pull out couch . But overall fine stay.
We loved this cabin. It was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the layout was perfect, with a bedroom and bathroom on each level, which worked out great for our group. The décor was exactly what you want in a mountain getaway; beautiful wood, rustic country furniture, and lots of thoughtful touches throughout. The location was ideal: close to everything, yet still tucked away and private within the resort. Check-in was quick and easy, and getting through the gate was fast and hassle-free. We loved seeing deer roaming around the cabin, it really added to the experience. The only thing we would suggest is a bit more lighting on the decks so they can be enjoyed at night. The cabin is accessed by a dirt road, but even with our fully loaded van, we had no problems at all. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing mountain escape.
We had a great time and the view was amazing with all the wildlife. Would definitely stay here again
Six of us had an awesome gals weekend in Ellijay the last weekend of October 2025 visiting wineries and hiking. We all loved this cabin! It was clean and well equipped and perfectly located near downtown Ellijay and wineries. All the beds were comfortable and the entire home was nicely decorated and cozy. We loved seeing all the deer each morning as we drank our coffee. Fantastic experience. We highly recommend Copper Lantern for anyone visiting Ellijay.
It’s a wonderful house. The only drawback is each bedroom is on a different floor. We came with a one and three year-old, which are thankfully very good with steps. There is a door to the lowest level steps. But no form of a gate at the top of the highest level. This is probably not a big deal to most people. But a little bit nerve-racking for what we had. Definitely no reason to knock off a star. The actual house is absolutely stunning. Well put together. Well decorated. The outdoor space is amazing. The aforementioned drawback is actually a big bonus as everyone has their own private balcony. They have everything you need to cook at the cabin. Was able to get a hold of them when I needed to get my confirmation number as there was a little bit of an issue with that. We’ll definitely consider staying here two years when our kids are a little bit older.
