The Anderson House is absolutely beautiful and so comfortable. We had plenty of room for our large group to spread out and relax. The hosts have thought of everything and we were so impressed with the furnishings (a lot of them hand made) and decor. The house was even decorated for fall which was a very nice touch. We enjoyed flipping through the photo album and learning a little about the history of the house and the renovation process. The icing on the cake was the sweet welcome gift…grits and cornmeal produced from corn grown on the property. We cooked a big southern breakfast our last morning there and the grits were excellent. I just wish we could’ve stayed longer.

The house is beautiful! The rooms and bathrooms are large, the kitchen and living area are wonderful to entertain friends and family. They also provide a binder with all instructions and resources to navigate the area if you are not familiar. I will definitely return to this property.

We were pleasantly surprised at all the stuff that was provided. Everything was well thought out. Plenty of dishes, towels, supplies,etc. Coffee bar was very nice. Fresh flowers and candle lit was a nice touch. Thank you gift was kind and unexpected. Very happy with our stay and enjoyed our much needed family time.

We loved EVERYTHING! I loved the inviting, "at home" atmosphere throughout the house. Everything is high quality, appropriate to the house, and very tastefully decorated. My personal favorite were the quiet morning and evenings on the front porch, overlooking rolling farmland with a backdrop of mountains. If you're looking for a place to catch your breath, refresh and renew your soul, you can find it right here! Nights relaxing around the outdoor fire pit was icing on the cake. For anyone looking for a variety of entertainment, the quaint little Alpine village of Helen Georgia is only a 10 minute drive. There are abundant wineries that offer tastings, food, and some with live music. A little something for everyone.
