Ideal for a small family vacation or a fun getaway with a few friends, this adorable home puts you within walking distance of hiking trails and other mountain adventures. Inside, you'll find a full, well-equipped kitchen complete with a table for four. Gather together and warm yourselves beside the electric fireplace while you watch some TV in the living area. Outside, you can enjoy the view from the upper and lower level balconies, fire up the gas grill for summertime cookouts, or just relax and watch for visiting wildlife in the surrounding forest. Arapaho Cabin is just six miles from Blue Ridge which offers many fantastic restaurants serving authentic Southern cuisine as well as unique places to shop including some of the best antique stores in the area. Blue Ridge is also home to the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway and the Swan drive-in theater. Kayaking, tubing, horseback riding, and hiking are all possible, with one hiking trail located just a short walk from your front door. Wish we had had more time at the cabin, but I had to be ready to return to work the next week, so we only had two days here. I felt like I was in a cabin in the woods. All we heard were the birds chirping when we sat on the balconies. We kept looking for a bear, but only saw a fox, a doe and four squirrels. Most relaxing two days in this beautiful cabin. We will be back. Hoping to make a trip back in the fall to see the changing leaves.
