The Aska adventure area offers miles of hiking, mountain biking, tubing, and kayaking. The beautiful water and scenery of Lake Blue Ridge and the marina are only a few miles away. The charming downtown Blue Ridge restaurants and shops (as well as several grocery store options) are an easy drive through beautiful mountain views on paved Aska Rd.

I am like some others who said I hate to give it a 5 bc I want it to always be available to me! :) It was beautiful - all the decor was so pretty and comfortable, inside and out. The vibe was so peaceful and we enjoyed so much time by the fire pit and on the porches, just drinking it all in, reading and talking. It was close enough to Blue Ridge that we could get there easily for meals and shopping and close to two short hikes we took, one to a waterfall. I hope to come back many times, even though it’s a 5+ hour drive for me!

It was a beautiful home with an absolutely beautiful setting. Great outdoor gathering spots and outdoor furniture. The interior was well maintained with comfortable furniture. A notebook was provided with instructions for Wifi, remotes, etc. also places to eat, and things to do in the area. That was very helpful!

We loved the way the cabin is located right on the river, the lower and top porches were very relaxing, the swing bed was a hit for a good afternoon nap. We enjoyed both the fire pits and the kitchen was roomy with everything from spices to crock pots
