Downtown Contemporary Coastal Oasis

This property did not fulfill my “luxury rental“ expectations. For starters, the view is very much overgrown by the shrubs within the landscape, but there are a couple places where you can peek through for a mountain and water view. However, the MOST FRUSTRATING is the lack of Marketing transparency that this property is actually a triplex. The B & C units are the basement below the A unit. And the floors between the A unit and the B unit are PAPER THIN!!!!. Unfortunately, our lovely Alaska vacation was overshadowed by DISRUPTIVE guest renters in the property above us. While the contract says there is zero tolerance for violations (which includes eviction upon notice), we were disturbed by rambunctious partying animals in the unit above us after having apparently closed the bars they were screaming, bloody murder starting at 1:30am. I took recordings at the screaming. I took pictures of the party van outside.(It’s hard enough to sleep in Alaska in the summer!) We called the property manager after the first night, there was very little help. The management company only tried to offer to let them know about the complaint. The second night we called the Anchorage Police Department. We were extremely disappointed in how the management company handled our grievances (they advertise themselves as a luxury property, a 10% discount on a three night stay for which two nights were completely disturbed is a grave failure in customer service). The second night of partying should never have even happened. We should have been able to sleep restfully and peacefully to end our AK vacation. I guess their “zero tolerance policy” is more like a suggestion. WHAT A JOKE! Do not claim to be a luxury rental if you cannot offer luxury services to your guests.

We loved the property. It as clean and well appointed. Very nice apartments. We just wish the service when we needed it was better.

Location was great. Super views of Cook's Inlet. Close enough to walk to downtown Anchorage. Updated furnishings and comfortable beds. We would certainly stay here again.

We chose this as an alternative to a hotel for our group of 2 families staying for 2 nights in Anchorage. We’re glad we did! It was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. We were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to go. And of course we enjoyed the hot tub.

The two units were lovely and very convenient, clean, and well stocked. The outside deck and views are beautiful. Just watch you step as there are lots of little stairs inside one of the units and the deck step is easy to miss.

Excellent location, beautiful property. Needs some work to make it a reasonable value for the high price. Needs repairs - dryer doesn’t work, hot tub not cleaned with weak jets, told not to adjust the heat - one area too hot and other too cold, tub drains so slowly you have to shower fast, no iron, door knob broke. Bizarre set up with two separate units rented as one.
