Overview

Nestled in the breathtaking beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Stonewood Manor is a serene and spacious escape where comfort, elegance, and nature come together in perfect harmony. From the moment you arrive, you are wrapped in a sense of calm that only the mountains can offer, where crisp air, quiet surroundings, and sweeping views set the tone for a truly restorative stay. Whether you are gathering with loved ones, celebrating a special occasion, or simply craving a peaceful retreat, this inviting mountain home was designed to help you slow down and savor every moment.

Begin your mornings on the front deck, where rocking chairs invite you to linger a little longer as the mist rises through the trees and birdsong fills the air. As the day unfolds, the expansive two level back deck becomes your private outdoor haven, complete with a gas grill for easy mountain meals, comfortable lounge and dining areas, and a luxurious hot tub perfectly placed for soaking under a sky full of stars. Every outdoor space is designed to make you feel immersed in the landscape, where time seems to stretch and life feels beautifully unhurried.

Step inside, and you are greeted by soaring ceilings, rich natural light, and an open concept design that feels both grand and welcoming. The living area centers around a stunning floor to ceiling stone fireplace that brings warmth and ambiance to cool mountain evenings, creating the perfect gathering place for conversation, laughter, or quiet relaxation.

The kitchen is a true centerpiece of the home, designed to bring everyone together while making meal prep effortless and enjoyable. It features full size appliances including a large stove and oven, refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, and a microwave neatly mounted within the cabinetry. With everything thoughtfully provided, you will have everything you need to prepare anything from a relaxed breakfast for a full family dinner, along with a Keurig to make your mornings feel warm and easy.

The main level master suite offers a true retreat within the retreat. A plush king-size bed, generous walk in closet, and spa inspired bathroom with a double vanity, walk in shower, and elegant clawfoot tub create a space that feels indulgent and peaceful, inviting you to fully unwind at the end of the day.

Upstairs, the second bedroom features a king bed paired with a twin bed, offering a spacious and flexible setup ideal for families or groups. The third bedroom includes a queen bed along with a twin sleeper sofa, creating another comfortable and versatile sleeping space that ensures everyone has room to relax and rest well.

These two upstairs bedrooms share a full bathroom that includes a standing shower, vanity with a small mirror, and toilet, providing a convenient and functional space for guests. In addition, there is also a half bath available for guest use on the main level, adding extra comfort and ease for larger groups.

Throughout the home, every detail has been carefully considered enhancing your stay, from cozy reading corners to open gathering spaces that bring people together naturally. A convenient laundry area ensures you can settle in with ease, whether you are staying for a weekend or a longer mountain escape.

When it is time to explore, adventure is just minutes away. The Blue Ridge Parkway, scenic hiking trails, charming mountain towns, award-winning wineries, and endless panoramic views are all within easy reach, offering something new to discover each day.

Stonewood Manor is more than a destination. It is an experience of comfort, connection, and mountain magic that stays with you long after you leave.

Other things to note:

It's important to note that this property has a minimum age requirement of 21 to book. Reservation holders must be at least 21 years of age or older in order for their reservation to be valid. Reservation holders under the age of 21 are at risk for potential fines and eviction.

The garage area is currently closed and being remodeled.

There are exterior ring doorbell cameras on the property for safety purposes.

All roads leading to Stonewood Manor are paved and well maintained except for the final stretch, which is gravel but also maintained and easily navigable.

Because of the mountain setting, occasional weather related power or internet outages can occur, though they are uncommon and outside our control. Refunds are not provided for these interruptions, but we will assist in contacting service providers if they occur.

A 4x4 vehicle is not required to access the property except during winter snow or icy conditions. During winter travel, guests should monitor weather closely, as any towing assistance needed due to road conditions will be the responsibility of the guest, though we are happy to provide recommendations.

Our mountain properties are nestled in the woods, which means you're truly immersed in nature, it s part of the charm! That said, while we take every measure to keep our properties clean and comfortable, you may occasionally see a bug or critter during your stay along with other wild life including bears and deer. This is completely normal for a forested environment and part of the rustic experience. We recommend keeping doors closed and food sealed to help minimize visits from curious insects. If you're especially sensitive to nature's little visitors, feel free to pack some bug spray for added peace of mind!

We are confident that you are going to love this rental and the location. It is truly one-of-a-kind, and we are very excited to have you as our guest! Please keep in mind that this rental is privately owned and managed, and we have no affiliation with the community staff or community maintenance. Should you have any maintenance or housekeeping needs, or have any questions, be sure to reach out to us directly so we can help!
