Serene Cabin

The house has been newly renovated and it shows! It was easy to walk in and feel at home! The kids absolutely loved the Pac-Man machine, the hot tub , a TV in their room, and the adorable machine that dispenses nuts for the many Jays and squirrels. We loved the amazing fireplace, the fenced in deck, the well appointed furniture, and the kitchen. Overall we had an amazing stay. We cooked in the house almost every meal and found everything we needed. There was an abundance of towels for the shower and the hot tub. It truly felt like I was in a home away from home with the decorations and cozy vibes. Will definitely be staying again!

Since we had planned to do a lot of cooking, the spacious, well stocked kitchen was a big plus. The appliances were all new and there were plenty of dishes. The beds were all comfy and everything worked well!

House wasn’t clean. There were dogs hair all over the house. It smelled dogs as soon as we went in. Outside grill was dirty as well as the air fryer. There were spiders and spiderwebs almost everywhere. The furniture was very old and dirty. The mattresses weren’t comfortable at all. We turned on the fans in the bedroom and there dust like it wasn’t cleaned for a year. I wouldn’t recommend anyone.

We absolutely loved our relaxing weekend at the Lake Arrowhead Serene Cabin! Upon our arrival we noticed that the cabin was clean, spacious, and well-stocked with all of the essentials, as well as some nice unexpected amenities (love the Pac-Man machine)! The first night we were too tired to cook so we enjoyed a great dinner at a wonderful local restaurant, Stone Creek Bistro, not too far away in the town of Blue Jay - highly recommend! Once back in the cabin we enjoyed warming ourselves by a cozy fire while it rained outside - setting a perfect mood for our getaway. The next day we took full advantage of the well-appointed kitchen to make a hearty breakfast and a delicious steak dinner with our friends. The whole space looks to be recently renovated with high-end appliances and finishings that made the kitchen work a breeze - excellent for entertaining with friends and family! We especially loved that our dogs were allowed to join us for the stay - such a relief that we didn't have to leave them with a sitter for the weekend. We awoke on the last day to find that it had snowed the night before and the dogs got to enjoy their first time running on a bed of snow - a great way to cap off the whole experience! Perks: plenty of living space, comfortable beds, modern finishes, lots of lounging area, peaceful surroundings, jacuzzi, dedicated parking spots in front for easy loading/unloading, games for all to play, easy and reliable Wi-Fi access, and best of all, dog-friendly! We will absolutely be returning in the near future for another restful weekend and hope to make it a regular annual retreat for our family!

My family and I really enjoyed staying in this house. It’s been very comfortable, nice, cozy and clean. I recommend this place.
