Upper Level Beach Retreat

If you want to be moments from the beach, this is a great spot. Just a short (less than 3 minutes) walk and you're on the beach. Their is lots of space with the 4 bedrooms, but dining seating lacks. The kitchen also lacks in cooking equipment, but if you're not cooking much it's just fine. The unit is not air conditioned, but being so close to the Pacific Ocean, AC really is not necessary. Fans in the windows worked well, only problem was there were only 2 fans - not enough for all the bedrooms. Overall not a bad place.

We loved the view, the location, and everything about Newport Beach! Can't wait to revisit next year!

Our family had a blast, Surfing trip here and the home was exactly what we needed. Will be coming back next year if the home is still around!

Space and location was great but needs updated kitchen stuff.

This was our first year staying in this house and we were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the interior. There was plenty of room to spread out in the main living room, and with four kids running around, it was really nice that the house wasn't overly packed with furniture and knick-knacks, and that the balcony was safe for toddlers. A few extra outdoor counter stools would be nice, as only two are provided. The walls are thick, and you can't hear anything from one side of the house to the other, so that can be both a good and bad thing, depending! The location is fantastic — a couple of blocks away from a good coffee shop and easy bike-riding distance everywhere else. The only negative we experienced was the non-functional coin-operated washing machine. The washer does not wash effectively and the dryer doesn't produce any heat. Washing towels is a basic necessity during a week-long stay so this was disappointing. Customer service did come through with a fresh towel delivery mid-week, so that was helpful and much appreciated. But hoping management can fix — or ideally replace — the ancient machines. Other than that, we'd be happy to stay here again. Newport Beach is truly the best!

Across from the beach and great people watching from the balcony. Parking was an issue. Listing said carport included but tenant below knocked on door and said that’s their spot. Street sweepers also block off streets certain days so we had to move some cars around but overall house was ok, location was great.
