We loved that there was 3 levels and the bottom level had a partial kitchen The rest of the house was very roomie.
Loved the quiet and tranquility of the location. Definitely has a cabin feeling and a lot of room!
Loved the three floors where families could spread out with gorgeous 360 views. The property manager was extremely responsive and helpful when we had questions, and very welcoming even giving tips for nearby parks. Access to the lakeside trail was unexpected but one of the highlights for our guest party. Saw bald eagle, merganser, goldeneye and other birds minutes after hitting the trail from steps adjacent to house. House clean, beds comfy and kitchen(s) equipped with everything we needed. Will definitely rent this home again.
The title sums it up. Like a horror film, there were so many spiders we lost count- more than 50. They specially love the main living room where the old brown couch is located. The spiders are brown and kind of blend with the carpet and couch. In addition the couch it’s self is extremely old and worn with stuff under the cushions left behind by previous guests. The spiders were horrible but the next thing sent over over the edge: One person in my party found an actual diaper in her bed in the sheets- she felt it with her foot and thought something felt wrong. (Nobody in our party wears diapers) So this bed obviously hasn’t been cleaned since previous guest. Sadly she found the diaper after the 2nd night. Lastly the carpet in parts of the home is very sad and old. Only positives: lots of space, location was good, parking was good. This home has lots potential but i wouldn’t stay here again after this experience.
Si The property had everything we needed—spacious, clean, and comfortable. We did come across a couple of creepy crawlers, but that’s to be expected in the area. Water pressure was a bit limited when multiple showers were running at the same time. The location was great with easy access to the lake trail, though it’s worth noting there’s no direct lake access from the property itself. A small “beach” area just a few steps away was a nice bonus. To use the trail and lake, an ALA pass is required, but the staff provided it for us, which was very convenient. The trail itself leads straight to the Village, about a 20-minute walk. Parking was easy with space for three cars in the driveway. The garage had a ping pong and foosball table, which was fun, but could also be cleared if extra parking was needed. The only real challenge was the narrow road leading to the property, which can be tricky if two cars meet head-on. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we truly enjoyed the property.
We rented the house for 3 nights. Pros: The house has interesting design, 3 story, 3 bathrooms, one bathroom on each floor, plenty of common space and ample light from huge sliding doors and multiple windows. It has 2 large decks looking out to a narrow extension of the lake, perfect for getting fresh air. Huge pine trees around the house add to its mountain look. Two bathrooms are renovated and the kitchen has new granite counter top. There are 3 big bedrooms (one on each floor) with 3 king size beds; 3 small beds in top-floor bedroom for children. It is close to the Village and shopping areas. Going around is very convenient from the house. We used the washer and dryer and they are good. Cons: Although these are tiny details, fixing them would make the house much more comfortable. The sofa on the 2nd floor is very old. The control of the TV on the 2nd floor worked intermittently. Maybe the battery is low. There are spider webs on the chandelier. The entry bench is near broken. The electric kettle lid does not close. Haft of the glass top of the console table on 2nd floor is missing. The high chairs in the kitchen were loose but we fixed them. We have tightened the screws so they are safe to seat on now. Overall, we like house. If the cons are fixed, we will definitely rent it again next time we go to Lake Arrowhead.
