Babbling Brook

We had a great time staying at this cabin in Lake Arrowhead. It was clean, comfortable, and in a peaceful, scenic location. The host was very responsive leading up to the stay, though we didn’t need to reach out during the trip, which is always a good sign. That said, there were a couple of small issues. The listing describes it as a 3-bedroom, but the third room is actually a pullout couch—not a traditional bed. The sheets for it didn’t seem freshly cleaned, so the first thing we had to do was run a load of laundry. Also, while the grill was a nice touch, it was missing basic tools like a grill brush, so we had to buy one ourselves. The tv upstairs also wasn’t functional. Overall, it was a solid stay and we’d consider booking again—with just a little more prep next time.

My family has been enjoying renting homes in the Lake Arrowhead & Lake Gregory area at Christmas time for almost 20 years and this home has been sadly disappointing & appears blatantly uncared for…for decades. Its furnishings are old, shabby & stained. Their kitchen offers old appliances & disgustingly chipped/charred cookware with no cooking or serving utensils & no wine glasses. Their outside security light was out of order so the entry stairs are in pitch darkness & dangerous. The main TV was not working so we had no movies throughout our stay. On finding the positive, the fireplace is very nice & the beds are fairly comfortable. However, overall, I would highly discourage anyone from renting this home unless the owner is willing to do major updates.

Cozy home and had all of the basics. Close to the Village. Not very ideal if you have smaller children but great for a small group of adults.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Very cozy and spacious. Super clean and well kept property. Lits to see and do. Visited a few lakes, shopping and everything is just a couple minutes away.
