Overview
A throwback to the simple vacations of yesteryear, this waterfront cottage on the shores of Lake LBJ is a place to swim off the dock, barbecue in the Texas sunshine, and dine on the grass in the shade of the trees.
This single-level, lakefront home is located on the northern shores of Lake LBJ, on a grassy piece of property with its own dock on the water. As you come back up the grounds from your morning swim, you'll be greeted by central air conditioning, free WiFi, and a window-lined sun room where you can kick back on the sofa, watch Netflix on the flatscreen TV, or simply take in the beautiful lake view. You can prepare an afternoon feast in the classic kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a circular dining table for four. Or, head out back to light the gas grill, throw on a few steaks, and dine at the table in the grass.

It’s a lovely property with nice dock from which to fish.
From the moment you arrive at The Little Lake House you feel like it a little slice of heaven! This is our 2nd time at The Little Lake House and we will be back again this summer! It is perfect for a small family and the back yard is huge to enjoy all day long!
We were visiting Inks Lake and Longhorn Cavern. The little house is right on the Colorado River. Loved our stay. The furniture is a bit outdated and worn. But the setting makes up for it
The property was very nice , clean , however when I looked up this property I specifically looked for a place that had a dock . My husband has knee replacement and therefore we wanted a place where we could just walk to the dock and enjoy some fishing and the water . Well because it advertised a dock I booked it . Upon arrival everything was great and once we got outdoors to where water is the Dock is broken , half is in the water . This made our trip uncomfortable since he doesn’t like to fish from the banks. . This trip was meant that we wouldn’t have to go fish elsewhere where possibly we either had steep places or far walk to fish. It’s beautiful , I wish someone had mentioned that dock was broken and I would’ve looked at other places. I’m not real sure about the 100$ fee. Finders fee , no one helped or talked with me about this property. Again , it’s very nice but it’s misleading . I’ve got other people asking about this property that we stayed at , I have to be truthful with them , I don’t want to mislead them . It’s awesome to be in one place and be able to do some fishing . Hope you understand . All in all it’s beautiful
This was the perfect cozy cottage for a weekend away!
