Riverfront Oasis

The home itself was nice! The property was nice. However, there was no WiFi and in this day, that should not happen! I guess this place would be great if you came to unplug. We weren’t there for a vacation or get away. We were there for a wedding weekend. Having no wifi and only one tv in the main space was not something we prefer. If you do, then you will like it. Communication was also terrible. Had to request the code for the second house. It was f given to us. We also did not know how to get in the gate when arriving. Bring a fan for the back bedrooms if you stay here, because they are warmer than the rest of the house! Again, the home itself is nice, clean and a good space. If that’s all you need, this one is for you.

Perfect for our size group. Nice homes. Quiet, definitely off the beaten path. Property manager very responsive and friendly.

This property was perfect for our getaway with extended family. The two buildings were well appointed, maintained, and very clean. Communication with the property management was timely and clear. The access to the San Gabriel River out back was awesome. And the proximity to local Liberty Hill attractions is great. Would definitely recommend and return.

The house was clean, spacious and perfect on the river front. Second house was big and comfortable. The trash was not taken out so half full already when we got there so not much room to put 3 days of trash for 11 people so critters got in the trash. Refrigerator took forever to cool so maybe not turn off the fridge between guests. Also, not easy to get down the ladder by the river with chairs and stuff...very slippery at the base of the ladder step. Otherwise everything was great. River was not high but perfect and clean for little ones with a nice river bank to sit and relax on. Fishing wasn't great but we did manage to catch some non keepers. Will love to come back one day.

We stayed here recently with a group of friends during our oldest daughter’s wedding festivities at High Pointe Estates wedding venue which conveniently happens to be 1.9 miles away from this property. Proximity to the wedding venue was our reason for booking. This property blew our minds. Check in and check out were seamless. We had a point of of contact prior to our check in texting us, giving us gate codes and reassurance of contact in case of any issues. These houses were immaculate. It seemed as if the property owners took into consideration any and all needs. We immediately felt relaxed and at home. The decor was simple and spa like. I didn’t want to get out of the main houses master bedroom shower and I left with goals to remodel my own home. Beds/pillows and furniture were so comfortable. There was even a basket of throw blankets to snuggle up with next to the couches. Great refrigerators with a great ice maker, dishwasher, full size washer and dryer access, games for children inside the house, two living rooms both with TVs in main house. Moving on to the outside property. Beautifully landscaped, plenty of room to throw a football, plenty of seating, 2 fire pits, beautiful, shaded playground area for the kids. The river frontage is great. We fly fish and love the water, we adore the San Gabriel River. We were concerned about water levels as this is North Branch and water levels can be pretty low. Not the case at all with this property because just to right there is a drop off with multiple rocky shelves that provide perfect for fishing and swimming. The kids caught minnows in their hands, waded in the shallows and we just honestly did not want to leave the river banks. Our only regret was not having enough time to spend here and having to leave:(. We will be back for sure!!

This home is a lovely place relax and social distance in style! We enjoyed the property with 2 furepits and a wood-burninh grill near the river. We also hiked during the day and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Would definitely recommend this hidden gem not far from the dfw metroplex.
