It’s difficult to find the property because the street number is poorly marked and there are no pictures of the gate; we had to stop local drivers to inquire. The lights did not work or the fridge; we had to call emergency assistance to problem solve the issue. The neighboring unit, under the same owner, had three dogs barking all night and pooping in our yard right next to our unit. Even there are no dogs allowed at our unit, only 200 ft apart. We never discovered the source of a periodic banging noise on the walls at night. There is no dishwasher, which they advertise. We would not recommend this place.

Pros: Spacious Cold AC Comfortable bed in main BR Quiet Clean bathroom & kitchen Cons: Difficult to locate the entrance; no signs; had to speak with an outsourced agent unable to help Sheets in small room had a bad odor TV not connected to the satellite so no TV No TV in the living room No WiFi Skillet surface flaking off Dirty utensils No coffee pods Trash at seating areas by the river (we picked it up) No knife in the kitchen On a septic system; had to bag wipes and feminine products Dusty outside furniture Playground dirty

Absolutely terrible maintenance. Not a single light on the property after dark. Fixtures inside the property don't function properly. Had to immediately leave and book a different place elsewhere because no one in their right mind would want to spend a night in that shady place. Gutted!

This home was secluded and pretty spacious. Any questions we had were immediately answered through VACSA. The outside pictures don’t necessarily match up to the actual home but once inside that was overlooked and forgotten. This home is clean and worked out for our family. Just make note, The main bedroom has a platform bed. (This may be a problem depending on whether a guest has mobility issues) We used this home just to sleep and shower. Only actual complaint is the rules on exceeding guest number. We were in town to visit 3 older children stationed at Fort Hood. It would have been nice to have them over to relax and hang out without the worry of additional fees. Otherwise, No problems and would definitely book this property again!

This is the perfect rental for a couple visiting the Austin area wanting a quiet peaceful hideaway tucked away from the noise and traffic of the city.
