This spacious property sits right on one of Texas's best bass fishing lakes, also stocked with catfish and gar. Tie off your boat on-site in the cove or slide a rented kayak into the water from the sandy stretch of beach. If you're up for some cliff jumping, you can explore Inks Lake State Park about nine miles to the south. There are several nearby wineries and the Vanishing Texas River Cruise is definitely worth checking out. Depending on what time of the year you're here, you'll behold beautiful wildflowers, various trees, and other flora, along with deer, foxes, owls, American pelicans, and more.
End your days gazing at the spectacular night skies and relaxing in your own secluded oasis.

We absolutely loved our stay.
Quiet and dark sky.
The cabin was delightful. It was the most well stocked place we have ever rented. They’ve thought of everything! We noticed none of the sulfur smell that previous reviewers commented about. Kids visited and said they would definitely rent it and bring their kayaks. It’s right on the water and so relaxing! (Btw we are 93 and 90 years young. We managed very well here.)
Privacy was perfect. The view of the lake was tranquil. Spacious rooms to relax. We loved it!
The property was great with awesome views, super cool building, comfortable furniture and was over all well appointed. The big problem was the smell of the water especially the hot water. The sulfur smell was so overwhelming that you didn't want to shower or wash dishes. I've lived on rural well water that had that smell before and it was not a big deal but this was overwhelming and ran me out of the house. It is really unfortunate because I would love to come back but I just can't handle that smell. My wife who never really got her sense of smell back after Covid was kept awake at night because it was so strong. Again we loved the place but that sulfur smell is a deal killer for us to ever come back.
Warmly decorated, snug, with all amenities. Most importantly, the landscape couldn’t be more peaceful or perfect. A new fave for us!
