Fantastic location close to hiking trails and Vail Village! The accommodation was impeccably clean, and the views were breathtaking. Watching the sunset from the hot tub with a cold drink in hand was an unforgettable experience. I’m definitely planning to return!
Beautifully renovated in Scandinavian style, this townhouse overlooks Vail village and offers breathtaking views. A hot tub on the deck, a stylish master bath, and a well-appointed kitchen. With wood floors throughout and a handy mudroom with heated floors, it was perfect for a cozy and stay. We can’t wait to return during the ski season!
This townhouse was a perfect retreat for our family stay in Vail. Nestled away from the town’s hustle and highway traffic, it offers serene tranquility while being just a short drive from Vail ski resort. The location provides easy access to attractions and hiking trails, ideal for both relaxation and adventure. The place is recently renovated with style, light, airy colors, and minimalist furnishings that beautifully complement the natural surroundings. The expansive vistas from the large windows are breathtaking. The hot tub on the deck was a delightful bonus, offering relaxation with amazing views. The master bath features an impressive renovation with plenty of natural light, creating a spa-like experience. The bedrooms are comfortable and plentiful, and the kitchen/dining area is spacious and well-appointed with high-end appliances. Overall, our trip was fantastic, and we would stay here again.
For this price category, I expected more. It took over an hour to get access to the property. There were two door codes required to gain access. The inner door code had not been provided and it took an hour for local management to respond. Guest services kept saying someone would respond "soon" but wouldn't commit whether it would be that night or the next day. Poor service and very frustrating. The BBQ grill did not have propane tank hooked up. The slider door locks were VERY difficult to operate with some being broken. The washer did not operate (GFI was broken). My clothes were stuck in a non-operating washer. Local management was contacted and after 12 hours they still had not responded and never did respond. Obtained an extension cord to work around the GFI to get my partially washed clothes out of the machine before my departure. This is not the kind of experience I expect on a vacation.
This townhouse was a great place for a stay with three generations of family in Vail. It is away from the bustle of town, but with easy access to everything and great views of the ski mountain. The townhouse has been renovated in a modern, Scandinavian style, which is perfect for its location— all the light colors and simple furnishings mean that the focus is the expansive view from the many large windows. The master bath is an especially impressive renovation— showering under the skylight in the wet room feels like a spa vacation. Plenty of bedrooms (with comfy beds) for our whole group, and plenty of space to cook (or lay out a takeout spread) in the kitchen, which is well equipped with cutlery and pots and pans. House has AC in the main living space and two upper bedrooms, which is a rarity in the mountains, so that was great on the hottest day we were there. We had a couple of hiccups that required maintenance, but the local team was quick and efficient and lovely to deal with, so the glitches had no impact at all on our trip. Two things to note: A: the house is at the top of a road with a number of steep switchbacks (which accounts for the beautiful view) so in winter conditions you are likely to want AWD and B: Only two of the bathrooms are en suite, so three of the bedrooms will need to share the remaining two (full) baths, one of which also serves as the powder room. This was not an issue for our group, but I know it can be a problem for some groups and it is sometimes hard to tell how houses are laid out/bathrooms are shared from listings. All in all a great trip— would definitely stay here again.
Pros : Nice location, Very close to the vail village and spacious Really responsive customer service Cons: Appliances are too complicated to use so a how to use guide would be really helpful No outdoor patio furniture at all! Not kid friendly (all hardwood floors and not child proof) No cribs or high chairs available for kids Confusion about the toiletries (they said it wasn’t available so we bought a bunch but they had it there) Not enough pots and pans Grill wasn’t working due to no propane and with holiday it wasn’t refilled With the amount of money we paid, we expected a few of the basics like cribs, high chair and working grill as per the description of the listing.
