We had a great stay at Lion Square Lodge and would absolutely book here again. The location is hard to beat — it’s directly behind the Lionshead Gondola and just a few minutes’ walk to everything in Lionshead, with about a 15-minute walk to Vail Village. Super convenient. The building amenities were excellent, including two good-sized hot tubs, free coffee and tea in the lobby, and a free shuttle that runs to Vail Village and nearby grocery stores. Having the Trail’s End Restaurant and Bar right in the building was a big plus, especially with their après specials after a day on the mountain. We also appreciated the option for daily housekeeping and found the front desk staff to be consistently friendly and helpful. Our room was newly renovated with cozy decor and felt very comfortable overall. As noted in the description, it was a bit dark due to the basement location, but it was still very clean and inviting. Overall, a great, convenient place to stay in Vail — we’d definitely return.

Super convenient for skiing, best location in Lionshead Village. Guest services were great, location is key. The room itself is perfect for one or max 2 adults. The bathroom is small, but it’s like being in some hotel hotels in Europe. It’s very clean well stocked and again the location is key!

We had a great stay at Lion Square Lodge. The room was super comfortable. The amenities were wonderful! Lionshead Village is my favorite and you walk out the door and you are right there. I highly recommend staying at Lion Square Lodge. We will be back!!
