This vacation rental is conveniently set on the main lobby floor, with ski slopes just outside the front door. Store leftovers from your experiences with the local Vail culinary scene, in the convenient minifridge, and then enjoy them whenever you wish on the glass top table. Refresh yourself in a shower with a glass door, then touch up with the magnified, lighted makeup mirror. Watch a show or movie on the 50' flatscreen TV whenever the mood strikes you. On the first floor you'll find the business center, pool and hot tubs! Should you need ski gear, Charter Sports is right on the second floor, catering to skiers of all levels. Also on the second floor are coin operated washers and dryers. Off the property you'll find Vail General store and Lionshead Liquors just around the corner. All nearby Lionshead restaurants and shops are a short distance away for when you're not spending your time on the slopes. Adventure Ridge at the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola operates day and night, in both winter and summer, for unbeatable family fun!

Stayed here 2 nights and this lodge is fabulous. Free parking, friendly front desk clerks and a convenient ski shop (Charter Sports) on site. This rental was on the main floor (3rd) which was the same as the lobby. The ski rental shop is on the second floor but also accessible from steps outside. The 1st floor is where the 2 hot tubs, pool and locker rooms are. They have fresh baked chocolate chip cookies in the lobby every day at 3pm for about 10 or 15 minutes. They go fast! The lobby also has an area with a wonderful selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate and oreos available 24/7. Friday nights from 4-5pm they have a happy hour reception that was great! Now for the room. It was stocked with a coffee pot (although ours was broken), mini fridge, microwave, toaster, bath robes for the hot tub and a fan! So nice to have an actual fan for white noise at night. Bathroom was great. Not the biggest fan of carpet but it was in good shape. They have an outdoor ski valet where you drop your skis/poles that is as close to the Eagle Bahn gondola as you can get. They give you a card with a number that you give to them when you pick your gear up. They are literally the first stop on the left as you enter the village at the end of the day. Ski boots are worn back to your room so you are walking in them a bit but not carrying skis. This is about as ski in/ski out as you can get unless you have a house on a slope right along the trail. It's more of a ski in/walk a few steps out to the gondola. Like 10 seconds. Another thing I loved about this property is that you can check out, ski for the day, use the locker room to shower or change before heading home and grab a cup of coffee or tea on your way out. Easily walkable to the village and they also have a free shuttle that will take you to the other village or wherever and pick you up. I'm so picky about what is considered ski in/ski out but this is definitely the lodge I will stay in when I return to vail.
