Riverside A101 - Riverside Hummingbird

No working washing machine during the entire stay. We ended up using our neighbors washing machine for laundry in the middle of our trip. Communication with First Chair was unclear and slow. Originally told that it would be replaced Monday. Then it was replaced Thursday but still did not work. We were then told an electrician would come on Friday to fix it. Then on Friday night we received a text that there were “logistical” issues and that was it. The me of the toilets did not flush for several days as the chain to the stopper was busted. We will look elsewhere for next year, disappointing to say the least.

We had a wonderful stay at Riverside A101 – Riverside Hummingbird! The condo was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed for a relaxing Telluride getaway. The location is hard to beat—close to town, the river trail, restaurants, and easy access to all that Telluride has to offer. We especially loved the peaceful setting and beautiful surroundings. The home was well-maintained, cozy, and made a perfect base for exploring the area. Check-in was seamless, and communication was excellent throughout our stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Riverside Hummingbird to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient Telluride vacation rental.

A cozy two bedroom perfectly located for ski access, fun in the town, and views of the river and mountains.

The deck was a great place to hang out along the San Miguel.

Excellent place. We especially liked the layout of the beds in the second bedroom: great for kids. Also loved the hot tub. The primary bedroom could use fewer pillows on the bed. It was nearly impossible to clear the bed for sleeping without creating a fire hazard along the radiator. The primary bathroom shower door seemed to be installed improperly; it was meant to swivel to allow for easier ingress/egress, but it couldn’t be moved without scratching the tile. The checkin policy is unnecessarily dogmatic. Our travel got us there 30 minutes prior to checkin time. I asked for an early checkin, but was denied. We did arrive 30 minutes early and sat in the parking lot. No one entered or exited. We went in right at four. A five star management company would go to the small trouble of checking with the cleaning staff. If they’re already done (as they were in this case), say “yes, no problem”. This obviously makes for a much more positive customer experience.
