IT WAS STEPS FROM THE BASE AND HAD ALL THE RESTAURANTS AND BARS ARE RIGHT THERE.
The loft area was great with plenty of storage. Easy walk to slopes and can ski back to door when enough snow. Enjoyed our stay.
conveniently located
Returned for the 3rd time to stay here & first in this unit, loved the loft, master, plenty of room for a group however, great location, easy access to the slopes, the base and to the music event, & not to mention an overly-friendly staff, eager to help at the front desk, great options for F&B right next-door at the White Rabbit, don't miss that or TrufflePig @ the base... Coming Back!
This was a really nice condo. Very nicely updated compared to other Steamboat condos in this price range. Please note that the building is ski-in/walk-out. You have to walk up a slight hill and either ski down or walk a short distance to the base area/gondola. Not too bad but definitely not ski-out. The only issue we had with the unit/building, and it’s a big one, is that there was a reoccurring cigarette odor in the unit the entire course of our stay. It was so unpleasant that we spent most of our non-sleeping and non-skiing time at my brother’s condo rental nearby. The odor seemed to be coming from the ventilation since the smell wasn’t noticeable in the hall or on the balcony although building management stated that the ventilation isn’t shared. Management apparently contacted neighboring condos to remind them of the no smoking policy anywhere on the premises but that did nothing to solve the situation. At the minimum, they should have offered to place some portable air purifiers in the condo to help with the odor.
Great spot located in the heart of the ski village. Great studio apartment, but just the right size for 2. Below ground parking and elevators all around. Great help by Ryan at the front desk, personal tour of the grounds and all the ins and outs to enjoy our stay!
