Great place for a ski vacation. The location is great: it's a short walk to the gondola from the condo. With the gas fireplace and comfortable furnishings, the condo itself is perfect for two people.
The unit is right across the street from the mountain base and bus stop. Very handy. The unit we stayed in needs updating and a larger bed but otherwise, there were no issues.
The location of this property was amazing. A short walk to the base area and you can be in the mountain in minutes it’s a short drive to downtown for dinner and evening activities. House was spacious and cozy. The hooks were amazing for hanging all of our snowboarding gear as we came in. Would definitely stay again.
We stayed here on a 4 night trip to Steamboat and the location is just fantastic because you only need to walk 5-7mins to get to the first set of lifts and gondolas in Steamboat and you pass the Gondola Transit Center on the way. The place itself was very clean and just be aware you need to walk down a couple flights of stairs for 3507. I would definitely stay here again if I were going to ski at Steamboat again. Pro-tip: call the front desk of The West condos in order to get a shuttle code where they have a shuttle pick you up and drop you off anywhere around the Steamboat area. You can also store your luggage at their front offices (Mountain Resorts) which is about a half mile from the unit.
It was clean, convenient and had a great view of the mountain.
