Overview
Vacation in style at this Ski Time Square condo in the center of the action! The Steamboat Ski Area is so close you can see the slopes from both of your balconies. Grab your ski gear from the assigned ski locker, then stroll right to the slopes. During the summer, visitors to the resort can try horseback riding the stunning landscape, relax at nearby hot springs, go hiking or biking, or enjoy a restaurant or massage at the resort spa.
After a day on the mountain, simply use the thermostat to get the gas fireplace going, then gather around the wall-mounted flat-screen TV with DVD player for a movie night. There's a collection of games and puzzles, too, for kids both big and small.
Glass doors from the living room lead to the first private balcony facing the mountains -- the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee before your outdoor adventures. The second balcony, on the upper floor, enjoys an even better view of the ski area!
Make a group meal in the well-equipped kitchen, complete with all large and small appliances like a dishwasher, coffeemaker, teakettle, and toaster. Share meals and conversation together at the dining table.
Rest easy in the sumptuous main bedroom with a queen bed and a window seat that's just the place to curl up with a good book. Control your own temperature with a personal thermostat just for the main suite. The main bathroom features a single-sink vanity and shower/tub combo.
The second and third sleeping areas are both up the stairs from the living room. A second bedroom sleeps two in a queen-size sleigh bed and also has its own 31” Vizio TV. Kids will love the loft with two twin beds. These areas share the second bathroom, also with a tub/shower combination.

Rating
The way the place is set up is great for a big family. We had a great time. Everything is close by and easy to get to. We loved the ski lockers in the 1st floor.
The location is great. A 5-minute walk from the building is confirmed. The unit is very old and outdated, as shown in the pictures. It is the furthest possible unit to get to inside the building. I feel the price of the unit reflects the quality of the unit, which is fine.
Overall, the condo building is in a great location and the unit is as listed. The actual unit is pretty far and tough to get to. The elevator had issues a few times throughout the week, including when we loaded out the last day.
The views and the location
This condo was a great location to the mountain. It was only short walk to the gondola; approximately 5 minutes. The condo itself was cozy. Each room has its own climate control, and was very clean. Plenty of towels, soap, trash bags, etc. The condo has a balcony with a great view of the slopes. Although not directly on the mountain, as I noted, was only a short walk across the street. You can comfortably sleep 6 people. A queen room downstairs, two twin beds in the loft, and a queen bed upstairs. You could probably squeeze an extra person or two on the floor or couch, but it does not have any other legitimate 'sleeping' space. The Parking situation was TERRIBLE. There is no parking included in the condo. The parking garage that used to belong to the property was condemned in 2021. As a result, the ONLY option for 24 hour parking was SKI TIME SQUARE PARKING GARAGE which was about an 8 minute walk (directly across from Steamboat Grand Hotel. This cost $40 a day, and you can pay via credit card or park mobile app. There are signs that say the parking garage can only be used by the 'hotel guests' but I did not have any issues. Use at your own risk. The other option is street parking that is available from 6am - 2am. The resort plows the roads from 2am - 6am and will ticket or tow your car. Loading and unloading luggage is also a hassle, but do-able. There is a side road that leads directly to the east side (the right side looking at the building from front). You can easily use that road for loading and unloading, but can not park there. The keys are kept in a lockbox outside of the east door entrance and you need the key fob to get into the building. There is an elevator on the east side of the building but it is NOT a handicap accessible property. The West elevator does not work as of January 21, 2024. The hot tubs, located on the 4th floor were a nice touch and gave a decent view, but the sauna was not working. Other than the parking issue, it was a great place.
Second year booking a unit in Ski Times Square. This property was very nice - end unit, multiple balconies overlooking the ski area, walking distance to the lifts / gondolas / base area and restaurants. If you want new and fancy, this is not the place for you. I've gone here twice on a father-son boys trip with another buddy from NC. We've taken the shuttle from Yampa Valley (Hayden) Airport and never needed a car. You can walk to Torian Sports to pickup your rental gear, and there are plenty of restaurants in walking distance too. Free shuttles around town if you care to venture out, and Ubers are easy too. For the money, this place is hard to beat. If we come back with the wives, we'll probably rent something fancier, but this was perfect for us.
