This unit really needs some TLC, especially in cleanliness. It could use a real good deep cleaning. The kitchen is okay on the surface, but if you look closely you’ll see dirt and grime on cabinets, vent hood, and the floors around the fridge. The hall bathroom tub had soap scum stains. The carpet is dirty and there are stains everywhere. Broken blinds and window screens. The pillows were as flat as crepes, and the secondary bedroom mattress was old and broken down. It worked for the week, but I wouldn’t recommend staying there without some serious improvements.
Terrible property Dirty, run down, smells. Booked for 6 days we left after three days. Stay away from this one.
It's like staying in a frat house. The carpets are disgusting. We didn't let our kids walk in bare feet. It has a funky smell especially in the bathrooms. The owners put zero money into the place. It is affordable, but really gross. Will never stay here again.
The home was very clean, but it pushed the line in terms of “essentials.” There was no flat sheet on the bed, only one wash cloth per person TOTAL, two extra trash bags, no extra paper towels, etc. The Wi-Fi didn’t work in the bedrooms, and the only technology to speak of was a VCR. Though, I will say, based on the provided VHS tapes, the homeowner has great taste in movies. I would be ok with limited linens, but the building only has coin-operated laundry in the building next door - with no detergent or change machines. So if you expect me to do towels while on vacation, it would be better to subsidize that effort somehow. Additionally, the free parking permit portal didn’t work for us or others we spoke to, and no tire booting was seen as we were warned, so that’s good. The only checkout instructions were to load the dirty dishes into dishwasher and start it. There were enough detergent tabs to facilitate that, so all good there. All-in-all, the place is barely basic. If you’re just looking for a clean place to lay your head down at night, this place will do. If you’re looking for anything above a hostel with a private bathroom, this likely isn’t your place.
The only problems were the lock box for the key was very hard to use and there was no fob for the pool.
Not a great place to stay. Dirty dishes in the cabinets. Hole in the bathroom ceiling and exposed wires in the bathroom vent. Dropping bathtub faucet. Couch was old and peeling and left small pieces of leather stuck to our clothes. TV did not have access to basic local channels to monitor the storm and road conditions. At least it had four walls so we didn’t have to sleep our car.
