Overview

Experience the magic of Silverthorne when you stay in this impeccably maintained condo. Ideal for families and couples, this vacation home offers guests a beautiful and comfortable home base, including gorgeous mountain views, for all their outdoor activities, regardless of the season. Located between the Gore Range and the Continental Divide at 9,720 feet elevation, you're at the top of the one-of-a-kind Wildernest neighborhood, which backs up against the White River National Forest, providing plenty of privacy and seclusion.

The interior is spotless and tastefully decorated with light, neutral tones on the walls and floors, accented with colorful art and furnishings. Relax on the chic sofa in the living room and watch a movie on the cable TV equipped with a DVD player. In the winter, warm up with a fire in the wood-burning fireplace (wood is available at any Silverthorne gas station), and in the summer, open the large sliding glass door flanked by floor-to-ceiling windows and let the mountain breeze waft in. Or wander out to the deck and relax in a deck chair while you take in beautiful pines and breathtaking views of Gore Range and Buffalo Mountain. This home also has free WiFi access.

The wood table and chairs is a great place to gather for socializing over scrumptious meals cooked in the well-equipped kitchen - complete with breakfast bar seating. All white standard appliances, including a dishwasher, plentiful cabinets, and counter space, make this kitchen a bright, functional workspace, making meal prep and clean-up easy. Extra perks include complimentary WiFi, a sofa bed for an additional sleeping option, and a shared washer/dryer for your convenience.

You won't have to go far for relaxation and fun, as the Silverthorne Recreation Center is roughly three miles away. Enjoy the aquatic center, play a game of pool while you imbibe from the wet bar, or take up something more athletic like a lively game of racquetball. Head into town for delicious dining at Silverthorne's many restaurants, shopping at the outlet mall and gift shops, browsing art galleries, and treating yourself to a spa day. Enjoy the overabundance of outdoor activities like golf, fishing, hiking and biking, horseback riding, four-wheel driving, and tennis in the summer, spring, and fall. Dillon Marina is only seven miles away, offering boat, canoe, and kayak rentals, world-class sailing, and shopping, surrounded by the majestic Rocky Mountains. In the winter, plentiful cross-country and snowshoeing are right outside your door. Skiing is close by with several major ski areas within reasonable driving distance: Keystone (under seven miles), Breckenridge (15 miles), Copper Mountain (14 miles), and A-Basin (under 13 miles).

We loved the location, and we did not have to walk up any steps.

Super clean, and loved how many trails were near by!

The unit was very clean upon arrival. There were no steps to get from the parking lot to the unit - a big plus. Both bedrooms were well furnished and comfortable. The pool area was being rebuilt. This was not an issue for us but could be a factor for others.

The unit was spacious and comfortable for our family of four. Walls are very thin, easy to hear the neighbors, and the pipes were loud. We did not sleep good the first night and used a sleep app sound machine on night two to help with the pipe noises that were so loud throughout the evening. The pool/hot tub/clubhouse is currently under construction. The unit is close to those amenities when they are back in service. Cleanliness could have been better, just OK.

I loved the open living room and dining room with seating for 6. This was a zero level entry from the upper parking lot. The common area was spacious and comfortable. Nice having a dry sauna in the building. Unfortunately the pool and hot tub were closed for renovations. There is a pool across the parking lot in AA building that was too chilly for us and that hot tub was also under repair. The kitchen was well outfitted, only lacked a chef’s knife and more kitchen linens (we had one hand towel and a fresh sponge). The beds were comfortable and only lacked deep pocket sheets for the twin beds and more pillow cases(lots of pillows though). There is a wood burning fireplace insert but no firewood. A cozy throw would have been nice. The condo had trails a short hike into the wilderness area. Great snowshoeing and hiking. Nice mountain retreat though mostly the view is of the adjacent condo unit and parking lot. I wish I could say the unit was pristine. It was clean enough though the blinds, under furniture, and kitchen drawers and cabinets could use a deep clean. All in all we would stay there again. Might look for a similar unit with a better view.

Really wished the hot tub was working. The place was clean. They could use new pillows and a more firm bed in the master bedroom.
