Beautiful Mountain View Condo

First the good: This is a very nice place. Spacious, well appointed (kitchen has everything you need), strong and consistent wifi, loved the steam room in the bath off of the primary bedroom. Easy walk/ski to the lifts. Parking right out front. Note that the bedrooms are on the entry level and the kitchen, living room, etc. are one flight of stairs above. This isn't real clear in the listing, so those with mobility issue take note. Now, the not so good. On our first full day, while my wife and I were having a personal/sensitive conversation at the kitchen table we heard voices and at first dismissed them thinking they were from someone outside in the parking lot. We then heard the voice again and it became clear it was from a strange man walking up the stairs from our entry below and into our second level where we were sitting. To say we were alarmed is an understatement. Apparently, there was a mix up in communication between the owner and First Chair where this man, from a window blind repair company, was told the unit was vacant and was given access (key, keypad #?) to fix a couple of the unit's window coverings. He apologized saying he was told he was cleared to access and make the repairs. We immediately called First Chair (both the main office and the local agent) to get the access code changed, but burned a good part of the day making several calls and then waiting for a final return call to get this accomplished (only after we called late in the afternoon after not hearing back did we finally get the new access code). We didn't want to leave the unit and our belongings at risk not knowing for sure the veracity of the claims by the repair man. Because of owner/First Chair communication issues, the lack of initial follow up to our concerns, and because we weren't able to leave and enjoy Crested Butte for the better part of the day, we inquired about recompense for a portion of our rental charge. The local rep said she'd look into it. I asked again the day we left (now one week ago) and haven't heard back one way or the other. As part of the email asking for this review, First Chair asked to let them know if there is anything they could do to address any issues before we leave our review. We did this over a week ago but never heard back. So, unfortunately, this review was drafted and submitted.

This was our second stay at this condo in Mt. Crested Butte. It is well appointed and very comfortable. Highly recommend a stay after wild flower season just ends. Very quiet in Crested Butte at that time.

Easy to get to, right by the lift, clean and friendly

This place was an absolute 10/10. The location is truly unmatched. We walked to the lifts each morning and skied right back to the door at the end of the day. The home was incredibly well stocked with everything you could need, and the views of the mountains were jaw-dropping. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect ski getaway. We'll definitely be back!

Perfect balance of location, gorgeous views, and parking. Very comfortable with normal amount of wear for age of property. Lots of room and nice to have 3 bathrooms
