What a place! I wish I could move into this respite in the Rockies! Thanks to the host for being accommodating and cool!

Awesome views, very scenic, and quiet :)

The unit was clean, with plenty of towels. The staircase from the ground floor to the kitchen/dining/living area was steep and narrow, and definitely not “pet friendly”. Our 80 lbs Golden Retriever had to either stay on the ground floor or be carried up to the main floor to be with the family as open staircases are apparently very frightening to dogs. Some other minor issues: steps outside unit leading to the front door were very short (front to back) and not level. When snow covered, they were slippery and difficult to traverse. A number of the pots and pans had convex bottoms so they’d did not sit level on the smooth-top electric range, making cooking a bit challenging. Additionally, it was impossibly to make a full pot of coffee with the coffee maker without grounds overflowing the filter and making their way into the carafe. All three adults tried their hand at coffee making and not once did we have coffee without grounds in it. Despite these minor inconveniences, the unit is suitable for short stay vacations; however, I would not recommend it for elderly, injured or those with difficulty walking, nor for families with large dogs.

Immediately upon arrival we noticed that this advertised "pet friendly" unit was not. The open spiral stairs and the open stairs to the loft could not be used by our pug and we had to carry him up and down to be with us. The curtain rod was pulled out of the wall in the bedroom with the king bed. Whomever thought a tall bed that a shorter person has to use a step stool to get into and a 6'2" man has to get on tip toes to climb in was a good idea should rethink their design and furnishing skills. The bathroom on the floor with the bedrooms was missing a towel bar. The shower in that same bath was pathetic. The water flow from the shower head was like taking a spit bath. Get a low flow high pressure hear on a hand held unit and raise the height so that a normal, tall person can stand under it. The doors don't stay open. There was what appeared to be a pee stain (from a previous animal on the floor next to the dining table. The half shower door and shower curtain combination in the bathroom on the second level was a joke. Getting into the silverware, there were several pieces that had caked on food and were not clean. The pillows on the beds in the loft had hair on them. The exterior is in rough shape and in need of overall maintenance and repairs. For the cost, this place far underwhelmed and disappointed our expectations. I would not recommend this unit based on the aforementioned items and definitely will not be back.

The beds were comfortable, well-stocked kitchen, hot tub worked well, but not where we expected to stay. If you like carrying groceries, luggage, etc. up a narrow spiral staircase, this is the place for you.

This was the perfect place to stay with our families! It is so cute and has everything you need. It is a very vertical house, so lots of stairs if you have anyone that struggles with stairs. The hot tub was a perfect way to end a ski day and the kitchen and living room is very open and great for dinner and board games.
