You'll be across the street from the Four O'Clock ski run, 25 yards from a stop for the free town shuttle (the lifts are one stop away), and 100 yards from the Snowflake lift. In the summer, you'll find access to hiking and mountain biking across the road, as the path runs into several forest trail systems. Or, walk only one block to peruse shops, restaurants, bars, and the Riverwalk concert and event center on historic Main Street.
