The host at the location said they offer tea, and coffee and fruit. The fruit was rotted and there was no drinking water available. The tea and coffee was not fresh. I was told to “just drink from the faucet”. Plus half the plugs in our room did not work. Room was clean, but no hand soap and the shampoo and conditioner was extremely old. I suggest anyone who stays here to bring your own food and drinks.
Best option for lodging if traveling with your pup and want to stay in Aspen as opposed to Snowmass or neighboring areas. Rooms are good, balconies are a bonus, as are the fridge and microwave amenities. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again.
The carpet was so dirty. Shower old and cracked. Not impressed at all.
Aspen Mountain Lodge is one of Aspen's best values- it honestly can't be beat for the price. It's a great, central location. The room was basic, but clean. The breakfast was better than expected. The pool/hot tub was a nice touch as well, though we wished the hot tub was a bit hotter! Our biggest complaint was that the walls were fairly thin and our room was close to the entrance, so we heard a lot throughout the night/morning. White noise on your phone is definitely recommended. We would return!
