Silvermill Lodge 8285

While the condo is small, (I would recommend for a couple or a family with 1 or 2 small children), it was perfect for our family of 3. Our son slept on the couch, we didn't fold out the bed but brought a twin size mattress topper that we put on top of part of the sectional. The king size bed in the bedroom was plenty comfortable. We did not see anyone else on our floor when we stayed in August (mid week). It was wonderfully quiet, it is far from the elevators but close to the stairs on the 4th floor. There was plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the shower. It was hot when we arrived but with the patio door and bedroom window open it cooled off quickly with the fan. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and dishes. The heated pool and hot tubs were great. Perfect spot for a Keystone getaway!

Really easy access to the resort. Skiing and food just steps away from the condo.

Communication relative to incorrect apt. access code, NO hot water and NO heat was frustrating. They informed us of the NO heat nor water but didn't understand the issue when I asked for their backup plan. So even after I sent them their own message they sent to me, they still did not understand the problem. We have stayed at Silver Mill and Dakota Lodge many times and had NONE of these issues with other property managers. Unfortunately for the owners as their property was not the best we've experienced but it was clean and accommodating even thought they lacked and very basic condiments (i.e. initial servings of coffee, salt & pepper) which we have had at EVERY other rental in the past. I guess it's the way of new, low cost service.

Nicely appointed 1 bedroom right at base of keystone. Lovely balcony and comfy bed.
