Sunlight Retreat

Nice house with a great view, garage, balcony, bedrooms, and backyard but there were a couple issues. Trash was overflowing in the garage but they came and pick it up after I brought it to their attention. The fireplace remote wasn’t working so they changed the batteries and it started working after that and the hot tube was a big foam pit and was not usable. They came to drain it while we were there but we already lost out on using it during our trip. Great place to stay if all the property things are kept up appropriately.

Great view! Loved the corn hole, we played daily! Had a lot of basic items that we didn't have to go buy, like filters, fabric softener, toilet paper, spices. Close to town. Great neighborhood!

It is a nice house but we had a number of issues. When we arrived, the garage code worked, but the code to get into the house didn't work. We had to call the hotline, wait on hold and finally a person kindly talked us through finding a lockbox with the house key instead. The house was nice and generally as advertised but it was not well cleaned. Both bathrooms had pubic hairs on the floors and in the showers. Finally, when I attempted to open the hot tub, I was chased away by yellowjacket wasps. After running inside, I went back out to see where they were coming from. I could see they were crawling out from the actual hot tub itself. I tapped the hot tub with a broom and about a dozen crawled out. It was unsafe to use. I texted the service line and they said they would contact the local service person. I never heard anything from them. I texted them multiple times. I didn't feel like checking again and risk getting stung. We specifically chose this house because kf the hot tub. We could have rented a better place downtown if we knew the hot tub was unusable. We've rented houses and condos dozens of times and this was the first bad experience.

This is a very clean and modern home, with a great wide-open floor plan. It has a great hot tub, large screen tv in comfortable living room, cable, WiFi and unbelievable views of the mountains. Beds and living room furniture are really comfortable as well. The house is located right on the edge of downtown, so it was super easy to get to by car or walking. It’s also nice that they provide a garage, so you don’t have to deal with brushing snow off your car every morning. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to stay in a great place in Steamboat Springs!
