The Grand Lake Lookout provided a perfect stay for our weekend in Grand Lake! The location is convenient to both Grand Lake and Granby amenities, as well as the lakes of course! The home was clean and comfortable and was perfect for a mountain weekend getaway!

I read a previous review that talked about maintenance issues and just assumed that they would’ve been fixed by now. The record player doesn’t work. The patio table on the back deck is broken and unusable. When I arrived, both bathroom sinks would not drain and they would not send anybody to fix them. They told me to find a plunger and try plunging it. It was a broken pop-up drain assembly that needed repair. One of the bathroom cabinets was broken with a piece of the cabinet hanging off. There was one towel for each of us, three people, for the week. The master bedroom closet was locked in on accessible. The barbecue grill was propped up by a 2 x 4 because it was missing a wheel and part of the leg. When I lit it, it was so loaded with grease that it caught fire! The smoke detector was installed, but not functional, carbon monoxide detector was just sitting on a shelf on the second floor. I contacted them several times via text. Their response was we will get back to you with an update as soon as we receive one from our local team. And never got back to me on any of the issues.

The Grand Lake Lookout delivered! Our relaxing weekend was perfect. The house was totally stocked so we were able to enjoy lounging around, eating in, and enjoying the peace and quiet around us. The beds were super comfortable and we loved how bright and cheerful the space was. The location COULD NOT BE BETTER! It's so close to Grand Lake, Lake Granby, and Rocky Mountain National Park. We enjoyed so many hikes and fell in love with the town of Grand Lake. We have decided to make this an annual trip and we hope The Grand Lake Lookout is available for our next stay! Oh, and check-in was a breeze and we loved working through the Whimstay Website to get the best deal.
