Easy walk to transit center and grocery stores. Nice little park with pond to walk dog every morning. Bring your own kitchen supplies if you plan on cooking !
Location and proximity to stores and restaurants. Clean inside.
This property in need of a lot of maintenance is in a great location in Frisco. A quiet neighborhood, easy access to the bike path. Close to restaurants, grocery shopping and a park. The Meadow Lodge property is very dated and needs a lot of TLC and maintenance. The garbage disposal was not working on the first day and a plumber was not able to fix it for 48 hours, limiting access to using the kitchen. The garage door only opened from inside the property and made a huge cracking noise every time the door was opened. The backyard advertises a 'fire pit' which of course would be off limits during summer d/t CO burning restrictions, but the fire pit is just a metal bowl surrounded by bricks that are crumbling and obscured by tall weeds and grass that appear to have not been mowed all summer. The yard was so overgrown that our dog could not even play or access the backyard. This was pretty unsightly when you looked at the manicured lawns on both sides of this property. The concrete patio has 2 gas grills randomly placed on the patio, plastic lawn chairs with a large hole in one seat and a hot tub with no information about use or maintenance. Several of the bi-fold doors (kitchen and master bedroom) are off the hinges and in need of repair. One of the mirrors in the master bathroom was off the wall and positioned on the sink while the toilet paper holder was also no longer secured to the wall. The small walk out deck off the master bedroom is minus chairs or furniture, but we noticed the wood which seems to be rotting, with nails protruding so were concerned that deck was unusable. The livingroom ceiling appears to have had a leak in the past and separating seams are visible. It was great that the kitchen appliances appeared new and clean and the Maytag washer and dryer on the low level were clean and ready for use. The lower level bedrooms do not have access to appropriate outside access in case of fire or smoke, so this coupled with the fireplace issues would present safety issues for renting in winter or during ski season.
The refrigerator was nice.
The property was very convenient in many regards… close to several grocery stores, close to the freeway, close to Copper Mountain alpine skiing and three Nordic skiing areas (Frisco, Gold Run and Breckenridge), the transit center and the Frisco Rec path. Plentiful comfortable beds and baths. Nice kitchen so we could prepare all meals in house. Nice office space for the few times we needed a remote work space. Good living room space where we could all gather together. Property is a little older and could use a little bit of TLC. Hopefully the maintenance issues can be resolved before future guests arrive.
This place is perfect for a quick weekend or a longer stay. Comfortable beds with plenty of room to accommodate a large group. Perfect hang out area to rest and relax with large kitchen for cooking and gathering in.
