Emmons Condo #427

Front door wouldn't lock, sliding door wouldn't close or open. Severe safety risk and severe risk for being robbed! Called it in every day and didn't ever hear anything til day 3. Unacceptable. Only thing good about this place was location, if you don't mind the 3 flights of stairs every time you go somewhere

This condo is a little run down and the carpet is old but if the price is right it is very short walk to the lift. Things to know the refrigerator has been replaced, there is no ski storage on the ground level so you need to carry them to the condo where there's a closet for your gear. It is on the 4 th floor but only two flights of stairs once your luggage is in the room. The stairs are not hard to go up and down with ski boots and gear. The best part is the less than one minute to the lifts.

Unit was "clean enough", but the carpet is absolutely disgusting. There are large stains everywhere and the carpet itself is more than just "dingy and old". We did not want to walk around barefoot. There were several issues while we were there also. A broken recliner, rendering it unusable. Broken sliding glass door handles that won't lock (great for safety and security!), the living room sliders were not even on the rail so it was letting in cold air. Broken toilet handles, and shades througout the unit on the doors would not stay shut. We did bring it to the attention of management, they said it would be addressed. I am not sure how it wasn't addressed prior, it was obvious these were broken. Parking lot is tiny, and really inconvenient if more than one vehicle. Also, make sure you plan on walking up 4 flights of stairs with all your luggage (not to mention the long walk from the tiny parking lot.) On a positive note, the location is great for the ski area (we weren't going there for skiing though.)

The location was great but the condition of the unit was disappointing and not worth the price.

Loved staying in this well located condo on the slopes of Crested Butte. I accessed biking and hiking.

Location was great! Unit is older but comfortable.
