Perfect location to town, quiet, garage parking, free weights in gym, pool, comfort and cleanliness

A perfect place for our stay. It’s a short walk to both the slopes and Main Street, which made everything really convenient. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again. Pros: Warm and cozy atmosphere. The kids said the sleeper sofa was big and comfortable. Having a garage and washer/dryer was a huge plus. The hot water heats up very quickly, which we appreciated. The jacuzzi tub was great, and access to the pool and hot tubs was a nice bonus. Location was excellent for us to walk to both the slopes and town everyday. Cons: The outside hallway was a bit drafty, and the door knocker kept banging against the door at night, which was annoying. The jacuzzi tub in the bathroom is great for baths, but awkward for showers, and could be difficult to get in and out of for anyone with mobility issues.

We did not “love” anything about this rental. We reported problems the first day, and had very little help until the beginning of the 3rd day. This rental needs some TLC and basic repairs.

I had to take my daughter to a ski race this past weekend and it was a low of -5F. It was quite chilly outside but getting into a 65F garage was amazing, especially with direct entry into the house. The house had many spices but was out of salt. Based on prior reviews, we brought our own pillows which I recommend. The seating area was nice, the kitchen was stocked, and there were many lovely amenities.

I've been here twice now, and the simple truth is that we have come to accept this property's flaws as a part of the charm. If the bed pillows were all replaced, it would be an easy 4-star review. I am local to Denver, so I am able to bring my own pillow to mitigate the tie-dye brown stains that cover the provided ones. But if I were coming from out of town, and these were the only pillows I had, it would definitely give me the ick. So, if it had new pillows, then what would make it a 5-star review? We really like that there is no carpet throughout. The plank floors into the kitchen tile is nice and uncommon in other rentals in this price range. The kitchen countertops are vinyl laminate. If they were sold surface, that would definitely promote a 5-star review. The bath tub is a big upgrade, but we got the sense it could use a deep clean. Since the bath towels hang inches above the toilet, we move them over to the tub shelf to keep them cleaner. The outside grill made us some good steaks and we were glad it was available with plenty of propane. But it is damaged quite badly, so a new one would promote a 5-star review. Oh, and the nightstands... there are none. I used a log to charge my phone on top of overnight. But all in all I am sure I will return here several times when I want to visit Breck. We wouldn't come back if we couldn't bring our own pillows. So I hope to edit this review the next time I come back and give it a minimum 4-star. As long as the price remains as low as it does, I wouldn't be disappointed if things remained just the same.

Great location, quick walk into town. We had several concerns regarding cleanliness of the unit however - stained comforter, dirty bath mats, dirty shower curtain. Home needs some attention and maintenance.
