Great unit with good views but still private
We love that you can easily walk to town. We love the layout of the condo—two king bedrooms and one cool bunkbed room for kids. For the most part, it was clean and tidy. Just disappointed that the bathtubs hadn’t been scrubbed—one was really gross. We stayed there during Covid and everything was spotless. Just disappointed that it wasn’t that way, this time. Also lighting is not conducive to reading—dark in living room even with all the lights on.
We have stayed in about a dozen different units at Water House and this one is closer to the bottom of the list. The floor plan is compact for a three bedroom, like they tried to fit three bedrooms into a two bedroom space. It was still comfortable, though. The view of the trees in the watershed area is nice, as is listening to the stream at night with the window open. You can also see the mountain above the trees. The kitchen is fairly stocked although all units at Water House need to replace the tiny, unhealthy, non-stick frying pans with decent-sized (12"+) stainless steel frying pans. And the plastic utensils (that melt when you cook with them) should be replaced with steel ones. This is one of the few units that has games, puzzles and books, which was nice. The sofa is a bit uncomfortable and could use some throw pillows and blankets. While this is a nice unit (all of the units at Water House are nicer than most other condos in Breck), we would choose others at Water House over this one.
Loved the ski valet service and walkable proximity to Peak 9. Condo layout was fantastic. Hot tub was close to elevator. King beds were super comfortable. Living room couch was not comfortable for us, but overall a great place.
Lovely place, awesome kids room and the pool and hot tub are so fun if you're brave enough to face the cold! Some minor things could be improved but all in all highly recommend.
The location is perfect for enjoying Breck shops and restaurants. Blue moose is definitely a go to for breakfast and it’s one of the best meals we had along with the à la cart crêpes. There is something to do for everyone in Breck. We really enjoyed AVA Whitewater rafting with Claudio, horseback riding and the epic discovery Center. And, if you enjoy visiting art galleries, Riatmans is pretty spectacular. The condo was perfect for a family of six. Having three bedrooms and bathrooms was great. The condo is well laid out, very comfortable and centrally located to the town. And we were very close to the hot tub which we really enjoyed. The only complaint we had is that the lighting was not very bright throughout the condo. We would definitely stay there again !!!
