Village Square 555 & 557

My husband and I and our 16 year old and 7 month old sons along with my brother, his girlfriend, and her 3 teenage kids met up at Copper for a family ski weekend. This condo was cozy and comfortable and the perfect place for us to call “home” for 4 days. We found it supplied all of our needs inside, and the proximity to the slopes/lifts is hard to beat. The large, indoor community hot tub is also a favorite after a long day of skiing. We would be happy to rent this condo again in the future.

The condo is roomy for 6. Good view of the mountain, 5 min walk to the lift.

There are some short coming that are not mentioned or falsely advertised. There is no king sized bed as mentioned. The condo was very difficult to heat up, despite turning up the heaters in all rooms we couldn’t get it above 63 for the entire week. A wood burning fireplace as advertised but no wood. When we asked where to get the wood we were then told there is no accessible wood. So if you like a fireplace, find another condo. It also says there is a ski locker, we found out there is not one. So enjoy taking your skis up to the 5th floor every day. The condo worked well overall , but just disappointed in the false advertisement of expectations. If the sun is out the condo will warm up. Pray for Sun. It should be well noted to make sure you register your parking pass. As many of us found out the hard way a nearly impossible sticker to take off will be out on your car. Which for us, we never left so no one contacted us through text, the app, email or phone, instead a sticker which dozens of other cars got as well had to be removed with rubbing alcohol and a razor. Condo is a good location and roomy. Just make sure you are prepared. Bring spices, there is no salt and pepper or simple things we were used to a condo having.

Condo was in a great location at the heart of Copper Mountain's center village. Less than a 5 minute walk from the door of the condo to the Eagle chair lift. Condo was at the door step of multiple restaurants and bars, the Copper convenience store and the ice skating rink. The condo itself was nicely decorated, well maintained and much more modern than a lot of other condos. Hardwood floors throughout, with tile in the kitchen and bathrooms. Large, comfy couch for the whole family to relax on. 3 Queen beds + a full size pull out couch. We slept 8 people in this condo! The condo had a fun mountain vibe to it. The owner decorated with mountain animals and ski memorabilia throughout. My family will definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent this unit again (just to put any negatives in perspective). My one big complaint is that the master did not have a king bed as specified in the listing. It wasn't critical for us on this stay but that might not be true for everyone. The kitchen could also use some potholders should you use the oven. The kitchen comes with no supplies... I'm used to rentals being pretty well cleaned out, but there's usually at least some spices, coffee filters, sugar etc. Our kitchen was emptied of any such items. The entire rental process was very smooth. Lots of thorough communication. Suggestions : there are ski lockers on the main floor but you must supply your own lock. I knew this from prior stays and brought one. There is not one in the condo despite a label on the kitchen counter which suggests one is normally provided. The unit does come with toiletries which isn't always the case. While we were there the garage gate never closed. Upon arrival you could just park and then go get your keys from the office and then register your car. Just be quick about it so your vehicle is legal.

The great thing about the condo was that it could be expanded by adding a second hotel like room. It had a large fridge, coffee maker and ironing set. There were not many added amenities to the space such as coffee, or extra towels. The comforter coordinated with the theme of the room, but looked dated.
