Keystone Townhome

The unit itself was probably one of the best in Keystone. If it were cleaned and well maintained! But it was not!!

Close to town and on the bus route. Spacious kitchen and good size rooms. Hot tub is nice and large and worked well. Overall the place could use some more guest amenities and a little TLC to be top notch but it was a fine place for a ski weekend.

When we first checked in, the property seemed great. However, please be warned that the listing is not accurate when it comes to beds. The property listed an extra bed that was nowhere on the property. It said that there was a queen sized bed. There was only 2 rooms with king sized beds, 1 room with the bunk bed, and a common area with a bunk bed and sofa bed. I tried to clarify this before traveling there and was assured that the listing was correct. We found blood stains on the sofa bed mattress cover, but nothing was done even though we reported it. The sofa mattress was also too uncomfortable to even use, so my daughter ended up just sleeping on the sofa. The house had plenty of plates and dishes which was nice. The hot tub was wonderful, however I reported that the water was a bit green and murky. No one came to do anything about it. Please be warned as well that the driveway was VERY dangerous with ice. I reported this on Friday. They did send someone on Saturday with ice melt. I was promised by a gentleman named Kyle that they would deliver a couple more containers of ice melt on Sunday, but nothing was brought till Monday. On Sunday, both of my children fell on the driveway walking to the shuttle. My son also bounced his head when he fell. I kept being told that our safety was important. Please be careful if you stay here in the winter for this reason! The open area of the living room, kitchen, and dining room was great for our family and friends to gather in. This should have been a wonderful experience, but the negatives left it to be just alright.

Awesome heated 2 car garage. We didn’t use the front door at all. The garage code was super easy to remember. Great spaces for hanging out together or to be by yourself if needed. Easy access to river run gondola if you don’t mind a bit of a walk. Quiet neighborhood.

This was a wonderful retreat for our family to have a Christmas vacation. We had plenty of space to gather, play games, eat, and retreat to our own areas as well. We loved that we were located close to the mountain for easy commute. We are already talking about making plans to come back! We had 7 adults and a 1 year old.

It provided a secluded feel but a beautiful location with access to many popular areas in Colorado. We didn’t want to leave. We loved it!
