First Tracks 4102

First Tracks was a great option for our family of 3 spring break vacation. It was a solid home base for the week allowing us enough comfort to sleep well, cook most of our meals and easily access the ski resort as well as the free bus line to the rest of town. 1st floor in the condo building right by a building exit made our trek to and from the gondola (about 2 blocks walk) much easier with our gear. No rental car was needed even after 2 days we pivoted from skiing to fishing, biking and horseback riding due to the warm weather. Steamboat makes it really easy to access the best activities - either shuttle service or the free bus. This condo is very functional and was a bit tight for us to be super comfortable in the common spaces even as a family of 3. But if you are looking for a good home base for a long weekend it was a great value and perfectly located.

Overall, this condo is the nicest and in the best shape of many that I have stayed in at various resorts. It was very convenient to be able to take the neighborhood gondola to the village.

The property was very clean and the location was super convenient! Really a good price for the location. Located close to the Trailhead lodge and wildhorse gondola was very convenient. We could easily make it to the base of the mountain within 10 minutes of leaving by walking. Being on the first floor was also nice to leave in full ski/ snowboard gear. I also appreciated the list of recommendations for restaurants and things to do on the mountain and around the base camp.
