I am retired and take 2 to 3 ski vacations a year. I have been fortunate not to have had any issues with rental units in the past. I had a few issues with this unit, however, that prevented me from giving a better rating. First and foremost, the fireplace did not work, and was under repair. It would have been considerate to let me know so that I would not have wasted time trying to get it to work. I really enjoy sitting by the fire after skiing and was expecting a place that advertises as "Walk to slopes with fireplace..." to have a working fireplace. Additionally, the shower door was inoperable in the master bathroom. A temporary shower curtain was put up in the master shower, and the door was taped back so you could still use the shower. These items remained under repair for the duration of our 4 day stay and my poor first impression of the place I rented versus what I had expected from the listing never improved. The listing advertises "Parking for 1 vehicle(s)" but neglects to clarify that the parking is offsite in a series of common lots. A 15 minute loading and unloading spot is available near the unit.

Condo was a bit hard to find in the dark. Our GPS took us to a road with no access to the unit so we had to wander a bit to find it. We knew it was unit 95, but I could not find the name of the condo complex in the email. That would have helped. Parking is fairly convenient, but finding the Parking Office in the Snowmass Mall was not particularly easy. It's hidden behind the mall on the street uphill from the mall. It is a short walk to the ski slopes. Condo had most of what we needed. Note that it does not have a washer and dryer. I wouldn't say it was spacious, but it was adequate for the four of us. Great water pressure. The unit is up two flights of stairs so if climbing stairs in the thin air isn't your thing, you may want to look elsewhere. Unit is close to the access road so loading and unloading gear is very convenient.
