The Great Escape in Gunnison

The Great Escape was as advertised. Well appointed, clean, and quiet. The nearby stream assisted in getting good sleep. The only challenge was initial entry. Just gets the keys out of the lockbox and don't mess with the lock codes as they are quite confusing. Also, you must push in the key to get the deadbolt to unlock/lock. Once you figure it out it's easy, but it is an unusual lock mechanism. The kitchen had plenty of cook wear and dinnerwear and the baths had plenty of towels. Nice place to relax after a busy day on the trails or on the slopes.

Lots of room

The house was in a great location and very clean and cozy.

This home has the right amount of space and coziness at the same time. The open floor plan with the kitchen, dining area and living room together allowed all five of us to be together while prepping meals. The front porch is like having a bonus room! We spent both mornings on the front porch drinking coffee, eating breakfast, reading and talking. The home is located in a neighborhood that is within walking distance to the West Tomichi River Park so that makes for a nice evening walk. We enjoyed our stay.
