This home has a great deck overlooking the lake and mountains. Every little thing in this home is carefully designed. Only suggestion from my end is if the mattresses can be upgraded with newer ones .
This house is perfect for a family stay, lots of space for together time and we each had space for privacy! It’s close enough to be an easy drive for the ski resort and still easy access to town to eat and explore. The house itself is beautiful and the scenery around it is stunning!
What a cozy place, with an amazing view.
This house was perfect for three couples with plenty of parking for our trucks and trailers! It was great location to everything we wanted to do. Close to town so you could easily vent to grocery store etc. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would ever need to prepare a great meal. We spent a lot of our evenings on the wrap around porch taking in the views and the wildlife, which was a great with plenty of room! We felt very at home at this beautiful and well decorated home! I would highly recommend this home and will be staying here again in the future!
The Hawk House is set in a beautiful location with stunning views. We were entertained by lots of wildlife on the property. The kitchen was very well stocked, and the sitting and eating areas were perfect! There were many day trip opportunities, and while we couldn't take advantage of all of them, we visited Mesa Verde National Park, drove the Million Dollar Highway, visited the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, and spent time at the Nighthorse Reservoir.
It was beautiful - honestly, wish the little boys didn’t realize there were TVs so we could be electronic free! But it was lovely, two bedrooms upstairs and the downstairs is a studio that can be rented separately. I made our reservation via VRBO for a three bedroom, so we were able to unlock the connecting staircase for our family. All the kitchen equipment was there- I did end up bringing some activated charcoal sticks to use for the water as some folks said it tasted funny- honestly just a bit minerally like mountain water. Saw loads of deer and while the house is hard to identify, all photos are accurate!
