Pine Ridge 10A

We had a great stay at this Breckenridge condo. It was very spacious for our group of six, and the open seating area made it easy to relax together. We especially loved using the wood burning fireplace, which made the space feel cozy after a day out. The condo had an updated, modern feel throughout. The location was also excellent, with an easy walk to the bus stop and to Main Street. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Comfortable and easily accessible.

We have stayed at Pine Ridge for the past several years in a different unit and really live the property! This year I thought we’d try a new unit and save a little money while we were at it. The furnishings were nicer and newer than the previous unit and the second bedroom beds were MUCH better. Everyone has different priorities but I would not stay in 10A again. There was noting major. Just a lot of little things that would cause me to try another unit or go back to the other unit. - I did not see that there was a wood burning fireplace. That’s on me. While it could be considered cozier than a gas FP, it was too much work to get wood, build the fire, then properly let it burn out at the end of the day. We also happened to be there during a very windy week. Even with the flue closed every strong wind blew ash into the living room. Ultimately we covered the doors and vents with a trash bag to help contain it. - We did not cook a lot but if we wanted to, the cookware was not clean. It may have been washed but not well. - The unit is conveniently located on the first floor w about four steps down then about four back up to load in and out from your car. That’s nice. - Although if it matters to you, you should know it’s right on the road so there is traffic noise and I felt like we needed to keep the curtains drawn. (that’s my personal hang up and I know it does not bother many people) - We were right by the hot tub. Super convenient. But also the motor makes a high pitched noise at times. Luckily we were not there most of the day and it did not seem to be a problem over night. Finally, the primary toilet seems to have a bit of a leak. It would run every 10 minutes or so. I closed the bathroom door and we use a white noise machine. We could barely hear it at night. - Oh. One more thing and I think this is an issue. It seemed like running the dryer would set off the smoke detector in the hallway. And at some point it would not stop even w the dryer stopped. Not to mention - we did still need dry clothes. I called the office line and they said they’d have someone look at it the next day. Not helpful. 1 we were leaving the next day and 2 we had to sleep. I know this sounds like I’m nitpicking. And none of those things are dealbreakers (except for the dryer-alarm issue) but totaled together this wasn’t the unit for us.

The location is superb, but the unit is showing wear.
